100% raw silk. This version comes in its undyed, natural state. It has a soft, nubby texture. Raw silk is great for travel and is a natural performance fabric — it's durable, breathable, naturally regulates temperature, and is hypoallergenic and antibacterial. You can wash it less by just hanging it between wears.

Natural fabrics can be worn several times before washing due to their inherent performance qualities.
Wash cold by hand and hang to dry. Gently squeeze but never wring silk (wringing causes silk fibers to stretch unevenly). Warm iron.

All Clayton Palermo goods are made with natural fabrics such as cotton, wool, silk, linen. These fabrics are inherently breathable and durable, require minimal processing, and can be recycled at the end of their long lifetime (if you don't hand them down to the next generation).

We save all scraps and use them for accessories and stuffing as we target zero-waste production.
